The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the formal statement, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
