Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available through early December. Primary Feature

Basic Package

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
