Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham were close to being six goals down at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Crucial performance, stepped up and demonstrated real class. Superb shot-stopping to secure a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their campaign.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for player of the season. Many discuss about Arsenal players. He has been the standout player without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a crazy Forest fan to say 'He scores and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten long shots on that. He shone. He is turning into a powerhouse. He proves to be a tough opponent. Pleased to watch him perform like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times last year in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties due to errors. But at Newcastle he's been a monster. He displays immense power and forceful and appears graceful. It appears he has secured a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a left-back, leaning towards a modern type offensively. He has proven to be a great purchase for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them unearthing more talent out of nowhere? It seemed after selling Pervis Estupinan that was strange but Brighton know what they're doing.

Central players

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they make it for the identical cause. Their sides were victorious, many mention those who netted, but lacking these players those teams don't click. They excel. They disrupt opposition, they join the offense.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. A lot of followers, such as family members, were questioning if he could be the man to lead them to success. Three goals in the local rivalry and now they want to honor him permanently of him. Finishing, poise, he dominated. The best player on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it will prove quite challenging to bench him. I felt he began well to the season, In my opinion he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could join to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he appears to have settled down. A brilliant brace clearly versus Leeds pulled his side from behind. He made the impact.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he seemed lacking his usual standard. He looked like his pace had gone. But wow. Words fail me. He was excellent. Brilliant in his play and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He excels, typically sharper off the bench, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he has to play. He squandered a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. But to have the inner resilience to enter into tough scenarios and net two was impressive.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and beats Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. It might have been five or six for Forest and few would dispute.
